Small class sizes

• Dancers receive much more individualized attention and corrections
• Teachers really get to know each dancer and their progression
• More turns in center and going across the floor
• Quality over quantity: with much smaller class sizes, dancers are able to progress much more quickly with less time in the studio

Healthy, nurturing environment

• Our teachers care for each dancer as a person while trying to make them the best dancer they can be
• Roles are cast not based on the costume size, but the dancer's ability to perform that role. We work tirelessly in altering and making new tutus/costumes whenever needed in order for dancers to feel their best when they get on stage
• We do not believe in dancing through injury - we want dancers to be healthy! Our teachers have gone out of their way to try and help dancers through injuries / injury prevention 
• Alumni regularly come back to take classes when they're in town, guest perform, or teach

More performance opportunities

• We have 3 companies ranging from intermediate, advanced, and pre-professional. However, joining a company isn't a requirement to perform on stage! 
• Dancers in the intermediate to upper levels are often cast in multiple roles, sometimes as many as 4-5 once dancing on pointe
• Sugar Plum Fairy, Snow Queen, Rose (Dew Drop), and Marie are usually performed by our pre-professional students
• 2 ballet performances each year
  • Nutcracker/Christmas Angels
  • Spring Ballet & Student Showcase
• Company members also perform several selected pieces at the Regional Dance America Regional and National Festivals in front of Ballet Professionals and Directors every year

Regional Dance America/Pacific Honor Company

• Company members attend the RDA Regional or National festival each year
  • filled with master classes from renowned teachers from all over the country
  • opportunity to be scouted for scholarships at dance programs and colleges around the country
    • This past festival, 3 of our dancers were awarded with scholarships to further their training
• Adjudication opportunity: while we do not participate in competitions, we participate in an RDA adjudication with a ballet adjudicator and receive valuable outside feedback on technique, performances, choreography, and solos. 
  • Last year, the adjudicator selected 2 director pieces, an emerging (student) choreography piece, and a self choreographed contemporary solo to be performed at the RDA/Pacific Festival
