PROSPECTIVE STUDENT LEVEL EVALUATIONS

Interested in joining the Deane Dance Center family?
For this upcoming season, due to an increase in interest and scheduling conflicts, we will be holding a special level evaluation class for prospective students on Sunday, May 18. This way we can make sure that your dancer receives the proper attention and evaluation from the director for accurate placement. 
Evaluations will determine placement for both summer and fall classes.
There is a $30 evaluation fee, payable on the day prior to start of class.

​Current Deane students may take the class if they wish.

EVALUATION SCHEDULE 

• 8–10 years old | Beginning/Intermediate (no pointe) : 10:30–11:30 AM
• 11-13 years old | Intermediate (pre-pointe/beginning pointe) : 12:00–1:15 PM
  • Dancers with pointe experience should bring pointe shoes, but they are not required
• 14–19 years old | Advanced Intermediate/Advanced (minimum 2 years on pointe): 1:45–3:15 PM
  • Pointe shoes required

DRESS CODE:
Ladies:

• Black leotard
• Pink or skin-toned tights
• Pink or skin-toned ballet shoes (to match tights)
• Hair in a neat bun; if hair is too short, it should be clipped securely away from the face
• Pointe shoes as noted above

Men:

• White T-shirt
• Black shorts or black tights
• White socks
• Black ballet shoes
